Join us on WHRO 90.3 FM on Veterans Day, November 11, at 11 a.m. to hear a one-hour special honoring those who have served in the military. Salute in Song, from American Public Media, honors the commitment and service of the men and women in our armed forces, past and present. Hosted by Alison Young, and featuring performances by premier male vocal ensemble Cantus, this one-hour music special presents music and dialogue about the armed services, with an emphasis on Veterans Day. Performances include "In Flanders Fields," "Waiting for the Dawn of Peace," "Last Letter Home," and "America the Beautiful."
