● Gina Gambony, our new Morning Edition host on WHRV, is also a skilled puppeteer.

● WHRV’s Jeff Sandner proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Afternoon Classics Announcer Wayla Chambo is a college basketball fan.

● WHRV host Jae Sinnett played on the same high school basketball team as Joe Montana.

● Roger Williams was a crew member on a three-mast sailing ship for a week in the Netherlands.

● Paul Shugrue’s nickname is “PBS” because of his initials.

● Paul Bibeau, Producer for HearSay With Cathy Lewis, wrote a book about Dracula.

HearSay Assistant Producer and Lyrical host Jonah Grinkewitz loves the gelato shop Strawberry Fields.

● Alan Campbell of Watching America proudly tells people he once jumped off the Empire State Building and survived - from the first step!

● Classical Announcer Anthony McSpadden first went behind the mic in the 1st grade, reading announcements for the principal at his elementary school.

● WHRO FM’s Dwight Davis makes and collects wooden tobacco pipes.

● Barry Graham of WHRV has spent his entire 40-year radio career within 100 yards.

● Barbara Hamm Lee, host of Another View, ran away from Girl Scout camp when she was 10.

● WHRO FM’s Raymond Jones once worked at the ABC store to supplement his radio income.
