Transitioning from military to civilian life carries an array of challenges. There are many questions, like: How can the skills I've learned be utilized in the workplace? Would it benefit me to go back to school? How hard would it be to turn a hobby or passion into a full-time career? Navy Veteran Cathy Dorgan talks to three women who've taken this journey. Rear Admiral Ann Phillips, USN (Ret), Artist Maggie Bush and Educator Yasmine Charles all separated from the Navy and are currently working in the civilian sector. Join us as we delve into the challenges, surprises and awakenings experienced by these amazing women during their transition from military to civilian life. The program will air on Friday, March 29, at 8:30 p.m. on WHRO TV 15.
