In this week’s episode of Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking, we’re on the road in Cambridge, England to cook a feast with critically acclaimed chefs, Tristan Welch and Alex Rushmer. Before we start cooking, we’re off to source some great local ingredients at Flourish Produce, which specializes in growing the season’s best vegetables for the area’s leading chefs. We also go down by the river to forage for some fresh herbs. And finally, we make a stop at an award-winning gin distillery, creating outstanding gins using local botanicals… and even ants! Our adventure culminates at the University Arms Hotel with a cup of tea and a true British picnic, which includes Charred Ricotta and Pickled Beetroot Toast, Cured Smoked Trout, and a Salt-Baked Kohlrabi with Turnips, all served up for some eager company delighted to dine outdoors.
