PBS Kids Writers Contest

Submissions for our annual PBS Kids Writers Contest are due March 25. We can't wait to read all the great new stories. They may even get featured on Ms. Martha Reads!

If you are in grades K-5 and like to write, pick up those pencils! We invite students to create a great story, illustrate it and enter it in our Young Storytellers Contest.

Each year WHRO welcomes some of the area’s most creative minds into our studio for the annual Young Storytellers Awards Ceremony where winners of our PBS Writers Contest are recorded reading their stories.

The judges have chosen winners in our annual kids' writing contest. Watch these young storytellers read their winning entries during the broadcast of our awards show on May 27.
