The Virginia Beach Chorale commissioned a new piece of music from renowned choral writer Daniel E. Gawthrop, called "Resplendent Light." The piece will premiere in the City of Virginia Beach’s virtual remembrance ceremony on May 30, honoring and remembering those who lost their lives in the 2019 mass shooting.
