Writer’s Block, the on-going WHRV FM initiative that brings together local poets, playwrights, storytellers and musicians presenting their original work returns Sunday at 11:00 a.m. This edition of Writer’s Block was recorded in July 2018 at the Smarthmouth Brewery in Virginia Beach and features singer-songwriter Tret Fure. Join Tret as she begins the program with a wonderful sing-a-long of “Raise Your Voice So High” a perfect anthem a day before we celebrate the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King. Literary artists include Chris Chandler reciting” Radio Alarm” and Walter Bowles presenting “Letter to my Grandchildren.” The literary and musical talent of Hampton Roads thrives on Writer’s Block this Sunday on WHRV FM.
Writer’s Block can be heard Sunday morning at 11:00 on 89.5 WHRV FM or online.
