This Sunday local artist Jerry Sowers pays an in-studio visit to the Acoustic Highway as a part of the Sunday before Christmas A Holiday to Remember Program. Sowers is the host of the popular Tidewater Friends of Acoustic Music Coffee House series that is based in Hampton and is a music educator with the Hampton City Schools. His latest CD “Lessons from a Journey” was recorded in Nashville and released this past summer. He has been a guest on both the Acoustic Highway and Hunter at Sunrise and was also a featured musical performer on Writer’s Block. Jerry joins the holiday lineup Sunday at 9:00 on 89.5 to offer his own holiday wishes.
