Ron Fetner is a well-known voice to WHRV listeners. He has appeared live on Out of the Box, Hunter at Sunrise, and was the first in-studio performer on the  Acoustic Highway with Barry Graham. His recordings include the 1997 release “This Box I’m Looking Through" which had national airplay on The Folk Sampler program. In 2001, he was named a “New Folk” award winner at the prestigious Kerville Folk Festival, and in 2007 he opened for country music superstar Trisha Yearwood. He has been a frequent guest on the Acoustic Highway and is easily regarded as a fan favorite for his wonderful songwriting and performing talent. Ron can be heard Sunday night from the 89.5 studio during the annual Sunday before Christmas A Holiday to Remember program. Tune in beginning at 6 p.m. for an evening full of seasonal tunes that celebrate the special time that is Christmas.
