Local Artist Wayne Mitchell stops by the Acoustic Highway Sunday Night. Wayne has helped lead the revival in open mic nights that are becoming staples of countless venues throughout the region. Hampton Roads was a hotbed of music in the '60s and '70s with performers like Emmy Lou Harris, Juice Newton and James Lee Stanley all living here and performing regularly at the open mics. Mitchell joins host Barry Graham to talk music, perform live, and discuss why open mics are an excellent showcase for the talent residing in Hampton Roads.
