About Skye Borgman

Skye Borgman is an award-winning director and cinematographer. In 2010, Skye and her husband created Top Knot Films, a boutique production company dedicated to creating extraordinary content that reflects the world that we live in. She is a professor of Cinematography at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and has led filmmaking workshops and seminars around the world.

Skye has shot over 50 films and documentaries, traveled to over 60 countries and lived on three continents. Her global experiences guide her vision, thought and approach to her work. Skye’s varied experiences give her the unique ability to connect with all types of personalities. She has filmed rock-stars, prime ministers, drug addicts, Buddhist monks, Academy award winners, and anarchist chocolate makers.
