This Sunday local artist Jerry Sowers pays an in-studio visit to the Acoustic Highway to share music from his latest CD Lessons from A Journey. The CD was recorded in Nashville and features 11 tracks including the standard “Wayfaring Stranger”. Sowers is the host of the popular Tidewater Friends of Acoustic Music Coffee House series that is based in Hampton and began its latest season last month. Jerry talks music, shares the stories behind the songs, and performs live on the Highway, Sunday at 9:00 p.m. on WHRV and streaming online at whrv.org.
