On this week’s Pickin, we’ll feature a program of “crossovers”- those songs that are country standards yet also were covered by Bluegrass artists. The concept is nothing new. When the father of Bluegrass music, Bill Monroe auditioned for the Grand Ole Opry in the late 30s- it was with a country tune- the Jimmie Rodgers classic “Mule Skinner Blues.”  Tune in for a musical excursion down two genres- country and bluegrass, on Pickin.

Join us this Sunday evening beginning at 7:00 pm on 89.5 FM.
