This week, the Highway celebrates the official arrival of summer with music from Eva Cassidy, Scott Kirby, Dustin Furlow, Tret Fure, and plenty of others including The Flatlanders. The trio of Butch Hancock, Joe Ely, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore originally recorded together in the early 70s but disbanded soon after. They each found success in solo careers and in 2002 decided to start working together again. It's all about summer on this week's Highway.

Tune in Sunday night at 9 on WHRV.
