On this week's Pickin' , we’ll have a set of music from Ronnie Bowman. Bowman started his career performing with the Lost and Found Band, before moving on to a lengthy tenure as a member of The Lonesome River Band.  In 2002, he broke out on his own with the dynamic release “Starting Over.” Since that cd, he’s concentrated on songwriting and producing,  including work with The Grasscats, Chris Stapleton, and Josh Williams. We’ll also hear from James King and his 2013 Grammy-nominated “Three Chords and The Truth” cd. And, music from Alison Krauss and Union Station, East Virginia, Ralph Stanley, and plenty of others. On the Highway.

Pickin' on WHRV, solid bluegrass for your Sunday evenings, each week at 7:00 p.m. on 89.5 FM.
