This week's Pickin' , explores “Fathers and Sons”  -artists of the first and second generation and their sons who followed in their footsteps and chose bluegrass for a career. Often they worked in the same bands as their father, while others went out on their own.  We’ll hear from Bill and James Monroe, Del, Ronnie and Rob McCoury, Charlie and Randy Waller, and plenty of others. In the footsteps of their dads- great bluegrass on Pickin.
