This week's Acoustic Highway, we honor the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior. We’ll hear music from Pete Seeger, Bruce Springsteen, Sparky and Rhonda Rucker, and Guy Davis. Also, a track from Janis Ian’s 1997 release “Hunger”. The tune, “Black and White” recalls the many struggles of the Civil Rights Movement and a song from Narissa Bond, which tells the story of her grandfather who walked across Kentucky to attend college.

Tune in for a special Acoustic Highway as we honor icons of the Civil Rights Era.  Sunday night at 9 on WHRV.
