This week, the Acoustic Highway looks back on the year 2022. We’ll hear from some of the best releases for the year including Rob Robinson’s Down this Highway and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and their CD Dirt Does Dylan. Also, a memorial set for the artists we sadly lost in 2022, including Bill Staines, Mary McCaslin, Loretta Lynn, and Norma Waterson. And, Tidewater Friends of Acoustic Music brought down the curtain on their 56 year history of producing concerts. We’ll feature some of the artists they brought to the area, including Janis Ian and Roy Bookbinder. And, a preview for a great cd that is being released in 2023 from local artist Ron Fetner. His Down a Gravel Road comes out in January. Looking back and looking ahead, on this week’s Highway. Tune in Sunday night at 9:00.
