The Acoustic Highway this week begins its feature on songs all about coming Home for the Holidays. Local and regional artists have told the stories behind their songs about “home.”  We’ll hear from Thelma Jarvis Peterson, Tret Fure, and Doug Alan Wilcox. And keep listening to WHRV through November and December when these artists are featured with their songs on Morning Edition and All Things Considered.  We’ll also hear a wonderful cover of Dylan’s “The Girl from the North Country,” by Joni Mitchell and Johnny Cash. It’s a full Highway.
