BASE Jumper and Wingsuit Pilot Jeb Corliss recently visited Egypt.

Over the last 20-plus years, Corliss has made more than 2,000 jumps—off of the Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Falls in Venezuela, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and into a half-mile deep cave in China—often performing acrobatic maneuvers during his freefall.

Even from early childhood, his life seemed destined to be full of adventure. His parents were international artifacts dealers and with their three children in tow, they traveled the world. By the time he was 6, Corliss had lived in India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

As “the new kid” at many different schools, Corliss dealt with bullies. Later, he found himself struggling with depression in his teens. In this interview with Watching America’s host Dr. Alan Campbell, he explains how all of these things played into his desire for thrills and adrenaline.

This interview originally aired in 2020. Listen to the interview.
