This week, Pickin' on WHRV features music from the upcoming Bluegrass, Brews, and BBQ event at Smartmouth Brewery in Virginia Beach on October 29^th. 

We’ll hear from Brady Heck who is performing that night at 7PM.   We’ll also feature a set from the McPeak Brothers. The trio hailed from Wytheville, Virginia.   In the 1970s, they worked with Mel Tillis and were regulars on his syndicated television show. Also, music from Dave Evans, Bill Monroe,  Del McCoury and plenty of others. Solid Bluegrass for a Sunday night!  Tune in at 7 here on 89.5.
