On this week’s Pickin', we feature the solid but sadly, short-lived bluegrass band American Drive. The members were remnants of JD Crowe’s New South band after he retired in 2012. They added a new banjo picker and kept the band going with traditional bluegrass sound. We’ll hear several selections from their debut self-titled project. Also, music from The Seldom Scene, Larry Stephenson, The Dillards, and plenty of others. Tune in for two great hours of bluegrass, Sunday night at 7 on your public radio station 89.5 WHRV.
