Pickin' on WHRV this week brings you music from The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Audie Blaylock, Bill Monroe with Jimmy Martin and other greats of the genre. We’ll also hear a set from The Dillards, who rose to fame with standards like Dooley, Polly Vaughan and others. They appeared on the Andy Griffith Show and helped fuel bluegrass on the West Coast in the early 60s. Pickin' co-producer Harold Smith recalls seeing them in performance. Tune in for great Bluegrass.
