This week’s Acoustic Highway leads us to the Pacific Northwest and the vibrant Portland, Oregon music scene. The state’s unique rural to urban landscape has given rise to countless folk and roots-based artists. We’ll hear from The Decemberists, Elliott Smith, Todd Snider, Blind Pilot and others. We’ll also feature a set from Tim Hardin who was born in Eugene, Oregon, but he had deep roots in Portland. Bob Dylan once called him the “greatest living singer-songwriter.” Tune in to hear these talented artists who helped make Portland such an incredible music lover’s destination. Join us Sunday night at 9 on WHRV.
