The week, the Acoustic Highway leads us all across America for our Fourth of July American Independence Show. We’ll hear from Crooked Still, Amy White, local artist Ron Fetner, Simon and Garfunkel and plenty of others all in tribute to freedom and songs of America. John Denver will be featured with a track from an often overlooked album released in 1980 entitled Autograph. It came after Denver’s heyday of being at the top of the charts in the mid 1970s but contains several now highly regarded tracks including the anthem “American Child” which we’ll feature.
