WHRO Public Media is pleased to welcome a new host and producer to WHRV 89.5 FM. Crizti Walsh will host and produce Morning Edition on WHRV. Crizti spent the last sixteen years at Sinclair Broadcasting most notably as afternoon drive talent on WROX and weekend air talent on WNOB. She’s also been a stand-out voice talent for many national and regional brands through her work with Studio Center Global.

“I’ve admired Crizti’s work, ethic, and vast skillset for years professionally and her engagement in the arts and music communities is a true force that we’ll be lucky to have on our team,” said Chuck Doud, WHRO Public Media’s director of radio programming and audience strategy.

Crizti Walsh grew up on a farm in historic Westmoreland County, VA, before calling Norfolk home in 1988. Crizti is a musician, artist, actress, traveler, skateboarder, and cook in her spare time. She also enjoys seeing shows with her partner Shane. An avid fan of genealogy, Crizti is writing a book based on the life of her great great grandmother. Crizti has two incredible adult daughters, a 14-year-old 30lb cat, and a 13-year-old Chug dog.

We look forward to hearing Crizti on WHRV soon.
