Every Wednesday evening, Raymond Jones brings you classical music with a Virginia connection on WHRO-FM’s A Local Touch. This week’s program features cellist Sterling Elliott, a rising star in the classical music world and recent winner of the Sphinx Competition. Elliott grew up in Hampton Roads and is currently studying at Juilliard; he was back in our area recently to perform with the Williamsburg Symphony, and we’ll bring you that concert recording.
