Music Director Eric Jacobsen leads the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9, with soloists Jennifer Check, soprano; Kirstin Chávez, mezzo soprano; Gene Stenger, tenor; and Markel Reed, baritone. The program also includes the Melody for Symphony Orchestra by 20th-century Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk.
