This Week in Mal’s World, Mal Vincent recalls being the first person to interview Tim Burton back when the eccentric filmmaker was a relatively unknown animation artist at Disney Studios. The story has come full circle, as Burton has settled on a Disney remake of “Dumbo” as his most recent venture. Despite his reclusiveness and dark filmmaking style, Mal says he was a friendly and open person.
