What shapes the way we perceive the world around us? Do clothes have the power to transform us? Does a “fake it ‘til you make it” mentality really work? These are just a few of the questions tackled in previous seasons of the popular program Invisibilia. Titled after the Latin word for invisible things, the show examines the unseen forces that control human behavior.

The popular show returns this month with Season 3. “Invisibilia is ‘best in class’ when it comes to programs that touch the foundation of our human experience,” says Chuck Doud, director of programming and audience strategy for WHRV 89.5 FM. “Each episode offers an enlightening growth opportunity!”

Season 3 asks the question: “How Real is Reality?” The stories speak to a central question of our time: How is it that people are looking out at the same landscape and seeing completely different things? Through illuminating science and compelling stories, we question our most basic assumptions about our lives by looking at how our concepts of emotions, reality, culture, and ourselves shape what we experience. At the heart of this journey, is a challenge that is relevant to us all: How much of the world and ourselves can we change? Invisibilia is life-changing radio. Listen Thursdays at 1 p.m. to hear for yourself.

You can hear Invisibilia on WHRV 89.5 FM or online.
