Old Crow Medicine Show has been around for over twenty years and their new album “Paint This Town” continues their exuberance for Americana Music. They’ve added a full time drummer to the band for the first time, giving these songs a little more kick.

Ketch Secor is now the only remaining original member and his flair for the dramatic in his songwriting is what has kept them meaningful and relevant. Secor says, "Our band has always drawn its inspiration from elemental American places, where water towers profess town names, where the Waffle House and the gas station are the only spots to gather; this is the scenery for folk music in the 21st century."

It’s hard to imagine exuberance coming from songs about divorce, opioid addiction, climate change and the South addressing it’s discriminatory past, but that is what Old Crow Mediicine Show is known for and these songs are among their best.

Old Crow Medicine Show has a grassroots following that appreciates their devotion to rootsy arrangements that address modern day issues and “Paint This Town” is a freewheeling, down-home blast of Americana that, while not totally unexpected, is a confirmation of their prowess as one of the best bands in the country.
