March 13-16

In this week's segments, "From Boots to Books: Student Veterans and the New GI Bill," we explain how the new GI Bill works and the challenges that students have returning to school after a career in military service. Veronica Cianetti, Director of the Center for Veterans at Tidewater Community College, and Bob Clark, Military Activities Liaison for Old Dominion University, talk about recruiting, what their particular school offers for veterans, and how veterans color the student body for the better. We also talk to veterans who are using the bill to return to school. They will tell us the particular challenges of returning from service to study.

The show is produced by Barry Graham and Kathy Martin.
