A holiday tradition returns on WHRV 89.5 FM December 18 with an evening of festive music just in time for the final push to Christmas. Join Folk Music Producer Barry Graham and ReelSound’s Sondra Woodward for the annual Sunday before Christmas Program on WHRV. 

We kick the celebration off at 6:00 p.m. with A Cowboy Christmas, featuring selections from Riders in The Sky, Michael Martin Murphy, and Asleep at the Wheel. At 7:00 p.m., it’s all things holiday bluegrass on Pickin’, and at 9:00 p.m., local performers perform seasonal tunes live from the WHRV Studio. Sondra Woodward steps in at 10:00 p.m., bringing two hours of classics from your favorite holiday movies and TV shows. We’ll wrap it all up at midnight with a full hour of Christmas instrumentals from artists such as Robin Bullock and Stephen Bennett. 

It’s our musical gift to you, an evening of holiday tunes and seasonal greetings, that celebrates the special time that is Christmas.
