Twenty years ago the Acoustic Highway was conceived as an outlet for exposing local artists and getting their music heard. The 89.5 studio on Sunday night has been a revolving door of singer-songwriters presenting their original work and discussing the stories behind their songs. This Sunday, the Highway features an all local artist show with some of the favorites that over the years have joined program host Barry Graham. Included in the show is Ron Fetner, who was the first local artist to perform live on the Highway. Also featured is Narissa Bond, Skip Friel, Richmond-based artist Gerry Laverty, Jim Masters and plenty of others. Local and Acoustic, on the Highway Sunday at 9:00 p.m. Join us.
