As we kick off 2019, you’ll be hearing more of a new voice on WHRO FM. Starting in January, Rebecca Evans and Anthony McSpadden will both be on the air during Mid-day Classics; Anthony will continue to be your host from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Rebecca joining you from 1-4 p.m. Afternoon Classics will now start at 4 p.m. You’ll also be hearing more from Anthony on the weekends, as Chaz Stuart will be moving into a fill-in host role. Many thanks to Chaz for all he has brought to WHRO – we hope he enjoys having his weekends back, and spending more time on his own compositions and other projects. We also welcome back Tristan Morris-Mann as another fill-in announcer and the host of Saturday Intermezzo following our live Metropolitan Opera Broadcasts.
Some things don’t change, however: we will continue to bring you the classical music you love around the clock, thanks to your wonderful support. Happy New Year!
