On this week’s Acoustic Highway we’re stepping outside the usual format and featuring “New Grass”—bands that redefine the traditional sounds of Bluegrass music. We’ll hear from Grammy award winners The Infamous Stringdusters, also, Old Crow Medicine Show, the Punch Brothers, and two bands that played at this weekend’s Bluegrass, BBQ and Brews Festival at Smartmouth—Wicked Sycamore, and Jakobs Ferry Stragglers.
