Christone “Kingfish” Ingram is a twenty two year old blues phenom who’s 2019 debut was nominated for a Grammy and makes his new one, “662” highly anticipated. With fiery solos, soulful vocals and great songs, he doesn’t disappoint.  

The title of the album is the area code of Clarksdale Mississippi, where the famous blues crossroads are and Ingram’s hometown. Just like the powerful delta blues players who have come before him, he has the chops to carry on the tradition.

Produced by blues vet Tom Hambridge, “662” allows Ingram to expand his musical styles. At 22 he can play the blues with the best of them now he’s aiming at other styles like folk and soul with stunning results.
