The holidays are all about traditions, and one we like to share with our WHRV listeners is the special programming on the Sunday before Christmas.

Beginning at 6PM, local performers join Folk Music Producer Barry Graham for a concert of original and traditional holiday tunes. You won’t want to miss Narissa Bond and her wonderful rendition of "Christmas Time is Here"! Then it’s all things bluegrass at 7pm with A Pickin’ Christmas, followed by the Acoustic Highway at 9, featuring James Taylor’s Christmas album along with other singer-songwriters and their covers of beloved holiday tunes.

At 10:00PM, ReelSound host Sondra Woodward is back again this year with two hours of festive music from your favorite holiday films and TV shows.

And at Midnight,we celebrate the longest night of the year with selections from the Windham Hill Winter Solstice series and The Mary Chapin Carpenter Album " Come Darkness Come Light: Twelve Songs of Christmas".

Tune in to WHRV Sunday, December 21stall evening for the perfect backdrop for cooking, wrapping and enjoying the special time that is Christmas.
