Tuesday evening at 8pm on WHRV

Control of the Senate is up for grabs in this midterm election, and WHRV will carry NPR’s detailed coverage of results with  analysis throughout the evening, beginning at 8pm. Robert Siegel and Melissa Block host. NPR’s Senior Washington Correspondent Ron Elving, National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson, and Political Editor Charlie Mahtesian will join them in NPR’s DC studio, along with polling experts from the Pew Research Center and outside political analysts. NPR reporters and correspondents, including National Political Correspondent Don Gonyea, White House Correspondent Tamara Keith, and Congressional Reporter Ailsa Chang will be watching returns at a dozen campaign headquarters nationwide. Scott Horsley will be at the White House, monitoring President Obama’s response to the evening’s results. We’ll also hear from NPR’s Michel Martin, and a number of newsmakers throughout the evening.
