On this week’s Acoustic Highway we celebrate the Fourth of July with songs, naturally, all about America. We’ll feature the song “American Child” by John Denver from an often overlooked album that he released in 1980 entitled Autograph. We’ll also hear from Simon and Garfunkel and their standard “America.” Also, local artists Ron Fetner and Tret Fure, and plenty of others all pay tribute to the ideals of freedom and American independence. Tune in Sunday night at 9 for this annual salute to the USA.
