At 10:29 PM on the 22nd, summer will slip away and autumn begin. The warm weather will not immediately disappear of course, but it will be nice to know that the earth has started its tilt toward cooler conditions. Classical music is full of pieces celebrating fall and its arrival and we will sample them Monday and Tuesday as we welcome the new season with works by Vivaldi, Haydn, Glazunov and others on WHRO-FM.
