With the departure of Cathy Lewis, after 25 years of wonderful HearSay programs, we are committed to creating new local midday programs that will debut in the fall. Program development takes time, and we are working diligently to create shows that are meaningful to the community and engage and connect listeners across southeastern Virginia. Until then, we will broadcast national programs.

NPR’s Throughline will air on Mondays and takes a look past headlines to help us understand the present and how these moments shaped our world.

Reveal, the country’s first weekly investigative public radio show and podcast will air on Tuesdays. Peabody Award-winning host Al Letson takes listeners across the country and the world, exposing wrongs and holding the powerful accountable.

On Wednesday’s we’ll bring you, On Being with Krista Tippet, a Peabody award-winning program that explores humanity and the immensity of our lives.

Thursday & Friday

Our local programs Another View with Barbara Hamm Lee and Watching America will continue Thursdays and Fridays at noon. We look forward to debuting the new local shows in the fall.
