This Sunday evening it’s all about Mom on both Pickin' and the Acoustic Highway.. Bluegrass greats like Jim and Jesse McReynolds, Red Allen, Lynn Morris, Ralph Stanley play tribute to Mom with standards like “Mother Prays Loudly in her Sleep” and “Dear Old Mother.” Its two solid hours of songs about Mom and memories of home. Then, at 9:00 PM mom continues to take center stage on the Acoustic Highway. We’ll hear from Cathy Ryan, Darrel Scott, The Austin Lounge Lizards with their hilarious tribute “Forty years Old and Living in My Mom’s Garage,” along with plenty of others.
