This week, Pickin' on WHRV features the music of Lynn Morris. She was the first person to twice win the National Banjo Championship in Winfield, Kansas. She has toured both nationally and internationally as well as with the USO to military outposts. She has been a featured performer at the Grand Ole Opry and has been voted as IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year. The title track from her 1996 Mama’s Hand CD was atop the Bluegrass Charts for six months and won Song of the year at the IBMAs. Join us for the music of Lynn Morris.
