Local artist Mike Lawson visits the Acoustic Highway this Sunday at 9:00 p.m. His songs have been described as “balladesque” and “hard to forget”. A multiple song and album of the year nomine in the annual VEER magazine local music awards, Lawson has cultivated a devoted and loyal following in the region. Mike Lawson will also perform at the next Writer’s Block, the WHRV ongoing initiative that features local playwrights, poets and storytellers recorded for future broadcast and podcast. The next Writer’s Block will be held July 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the WHRO Teleconference Center. Join us for both events and enjoy the acoustic talent that is Mike Lawson.
