WHRO FM is excited to announce an addition to our Saturday morning lineup. Classics for Kids is a short weekly segment that helps children learn about classical music. Produced by Cincinnati Public Radio, the show is written and hosted each week by Naomi Lewin.The program brings classical music's great composers to life through music and stories.

In addition, teacher and parents can find companion lesson plans, activitiy sheets and games on the program's website

The show will air Saturdays at 11 a.m., starting Nov. 7, on WHRO FM, but you can listen to past segments anytime on our podcast page whro.org/classicsforkids

For November, we'll be exploring the life and music of composer Gustav Holst. Join us to learn about his career and his most famous composition The Planets.
