For over 20 years, local and regional artists have been invited onto the Acoustic Highway to perform live on air and showcase their musical talent. Luckily, many of the performances have been captured and are a part of the WHRV Library. This week, a revisit to some of the classic in-studio performances by artists who have showcased their music in the 89.5 studio. Join us to hear Charlottesville based performer Ben Eppard (who left host Barry Graham literally speechless with a tune he had just written entitled “I am a product of..”) , Hampton-based artist Jerry Sowers paying homage to his hometown with a tune entitled “ Hobson’s Barber Shop, along with Jim Bulleit, Brian Badami, Tret Fure and plenty of others (almost) live from the Highway, Sunday night at 9:00.
