On this week’s Acoustic Highway, we’ll feature Celtic artists with music from Cathy Ryan, Seamus Kennedy, Danu, Solas, Karan Casey, Cara Dillon, and plenty of others in a showcase of both traditional and modern interpretation of this much beloved genre. Included in the show is a rare release featuring the Clancy Brothers with Tommy Makem captured live at Carnegie Hall on St. Patrick’s Day, 1963 at the peak of the great Folk Boom of the early 60s.
