This week in Mal’s World, Mal Vincent previews the final film in his three-movie festival, "Gems from the Golden Age," at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach. Ava Gardner stars in the spectacular musical, Show Boat, set on the Mississippi River. Gardner won the role, but when it came to her singing, the film’s final cut hit a sour note with the actress.
