James Taylor, Al Pacino, the surviving members of the Eagles (Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmidt and Joe Walsh), pianist Martha Argerich and gospel singer Mavis Staples, are all recipients of the prestigious 2016 Kennedy Center Honors award. This week, Mal Vincent recalls the time he literally sat down on the floor to interview the legendary singer-songwriter and guitarist, James Taylor. As a grateful Mal reveals, he was surprised that the five-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer actually made it through the interview.
